Sudoku sites
The familiar number grid: no repeats in any row, column or box.
What is the difference between Sudoku and Sudoku variants?
Classic Sudoku is rows, columns and 3×3 boxes with 1–9 once each. Variants keep that frame and add a second rule layer — Killer cages, jigsaw regions, thermos, arrows, diagonals. Classic sites stay on this page; the extra rules live under Sudoku variants.
What kind of Sudoku site do you want?
Some people want one 9×9 a day. Others want variants, print or a duel. Sudoku.com and the Times suit open-and-play. Web Sudoku suits a bare page. Sudoku Fans and Sudoku Home are Chinese-community sites. Sudoku Knacker is solid if you read German — no need to detour through English.
Free play or an account?
Most of these play without paying. An account is usually for saves or fewer ads. Skip a subscription until you know whether hints spoil the grid and whether the checker makes you lazy. For technique, SudokuWiki and HoDoKu in the solver category beat another app.
Where do Sudoku variants live?
Killer, jigsaw and thermo sit on the variant page so this list stays classic 9×9. When you want more, the variant page adds the extra rules.
How is this list ordered?
We don't rank by traffic. We put sites you can open daily, with readable rules and no hard paywall, first.
