Puzzle contests and federations

World Puzzle Federation, national championships, and ranked online series.

Where can I find competitive rankings or official tournaments?

Contests & federations (14 sites) indexes the World Puzzle Federation, national championships, the Grand Prix, and standing rated rooms such as Fed Sudoku and Puzzle Duel. Entry rules and software live on each organizer's page — this atlas does not take registrations.

Federation championship or a weekly rated room?

The World Puzzle Federation owns the world titles and the calendar. The Grand Prix is several online rounds a year, no national team required. National associations (US, Japan, UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, Australia, Czechia and more) run open nationals, often with an online qualifier. Fed Sudoku, Puzzle Duel and Argio are standing rated rooms, not a once-a-year championship.

Should I enter?

You do not need a prize motive. Most open rounds are free or a token fee, on rules you already know. If timers scare you, start with a practice pack or a low round — not the first GP.

Do we take entries here?

Deadlines, time zones and software sit on each organizer's page. We only say what kind of contest it is and roughly which language it uses.
