Rules
- A bulb lights straight up, down, left and right until a black cell blocks it.
- Every white cell must end up lit.
- No bulb may see another bulb — two bulbs never share an unblocked line.
- A numbered black cell needs exactly that many bulbs on its four sides.
How to start
Start on the 4s and 0s
All four neighbours filled or all four empty: one move settles a block.
Dead sides of a clue are free information
If a numbered cell has no white neighbour on one side, that side can never hold a bulb.
Use "must not be seen" in reverse
A cell where a bulb would be seen by another bulb is empty. It is the sharpest tool in crowded areas.
Where players get stuck
- Forgetting bulbs cannot see each other, then hitting conflicts across a whole region.
- Watching only the clues and forgetting every white cell must be lit.
