Rules
- Given letters, rearrange them into the target word.
- Each letter is used exactly once.
- A hint word or theme usually narrows the field.
How to start
Fix the high-frequency letters first
Vowels and common consonants (e, a, r, t, s, n) often decide the shape; place them early.
Cut by length and theme
Knowing length and theme (name, place, food) rules out most options at once.
Split root plus suffix
Many anagrams are root + s/ed/ing — spot the root, then the ending.
Where players get stuck
- Dropping a letter or using one twice.
- Brainstorming with no hint, so the candidate set explodes.
